Nine and Dine Events

What is Nine and Dine you ask?  It's a way for couples to have fun playing golf together, (yes, that's right, golf together), for 9 holes and then meet afterwards for dinner.  A fun, light hearted, unique 9 hole round of golf in couples format.  No seriousness here.  The point is to have fun.  (And maybe learn something in the process.)  Are you catching my drift?  FUN!!!

All events will be on Sunday afternoons beginning at 3:30.  Shotgun start.  Must be man/woman pairings.  Dinner will follow at 6:30 at a designated eating establishment prior to the event.  Entry is $30 per person, which includes dinner.

Dates for events:  Coming soon and remember, all dates are subject to weather conditions, but HEY, we're golfers.  And golf is an outdoor sport.  So get ready.

Entry into each event must be received by the Wednesday prior to the date listed above to allow for dining arrangements.  Call the golf course at 707-785-2468 with questions or to sign up.

Sea Ranch Junior Golf Camp

Plans are being made for the 2012 Jr. Golf Camp at Sea Ranch Golf Links.  Dates are still being discussed and format may change for 2012 to accomodate a wider range of golfers.  Keep checking this web page for updated information.

PAHS Fundraiser Tournament

Alright all you Pirate fans, the annual scramble fundraising event for the PAHS golf team will be here before you know it.  This year's tournament date is set for Saturday, April 28th.  As we did last year here at Sea Ranch Golf Links we will be offering specially priced practice rounds during selected tee times prior to the big day so that you can knock off the cobwebs and get to know your favorite golf course again.  Keep checking the website for those dates.  We look forward to seeing you again this year!

PIF

What in the world is PIF?  No idea?

There was a movie out several years ago with Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt and Haley Joel Osmont called Pay It Forward.  The premise was that by doing a good deed or act for someone for no apparent reason, one could start to make the world a better place.

We here at Sea Ranch Golf Links support that concept.  Consequently, for the next several weeks to potentially months, each Tuesday we are partnering with a local business establishment and 10% of our total sales for that day will go to the PIF partner.  No strings attached.  All we ask is that the local establishment return the favor by putting the good word out about SRGL and if they have a group of people that they would like to host an event for, they consider us as an event solution.

Check our event calendar for upcoming Tuesdays and come support your favorite business by playing a round or purchasing an item at Sea Ranch Golf Links.

Mimi Graves (second from left) and family

May 22nd and 23rd, 2011 were two very special days here at Sea Ranch Golf Links.

Mimi Graves, wife of Sea Ranch Golf Links designer and developer Robert Muir Graves, took time to come and visit her late husband’s wonderful creation.  I have to tell you, it was truly a pleasure to meet her and spend a little time talking with her about all things Sea Ranch.  Robert was a fortunate man to have shared his life with this lady.

Accompanied by 3 other family members, the four ladies played 9 holes each day and based on their reactions, it appears that Sea Ranch is once again becoming the hidden gem that it was originally meant to be.  Mimi was thrilled to see how the golf course has matured and its overall condition now.  And coming from her, we couldn’t have had a better compliment.

Thank you Mimi Graves for gracing us with your presence.  It was an honor to have you here and we look forward to your next visit.
